DIY hair sun protection products unlike the branded one are made with natural ingredients loaded with vitamins essential for healthy hair. When preparing your own hair mask or other product, you choose which ingredients to use, from different fruits and vegetables to essential vitamins. Furthermore, DIY hair products are not damaging to hair regardless of the type and texture. For example, if you prepare an oil-control hair mask but have dry hair, the mask will not cause any damage. On the other hand, when you use a branded product not designed for your hair type, it can significantly affect the health of your hair and even cause hair loss in women (some, not all).

No matter how natural a branded product may be, certain chemicals are used in order to enable its long shelf life. Therefore, it is better to use fresh fruits and other natural ingredients that will boost hair growth and make your hair shiner and healthier. Even though DIY hair masks require longer preparation time, they are safer and more efficient than branded ones that are surely easy to use and apply, but can seriously damage your hair. Here are few quick and easy DIY hair products you can make at home.
